| Our History Starting out in 1993 as Blooms Of West London, based in London's Kew Gardens, we established a highly reputable business initially supplying, by contract, many well-known hotel chains and event venues with fresh flower displays, dried and silk, plus window boxes and specimen trees.
In response to local demand in Kew, we opened retail outlets where our reputation for style, value, and trust spread and customers came from far and wide to have Claire Southall and her creative team design and deliver to their most important events.
Eventually, with supermarkets, retail stores and even greetings card shops starting to sell flowers, we saw that the market for flowers was changing; becoming less of a luxury with the discerning customer no longer able to be sure that they could buy the quality they expected and unable to send flowers that they could be proud, we decided to sell that business and look for a new way to cater for the discerning clients we were used to helping.
And as THE LONDON SEED EMPORIUM we have devised a way for our clients to ensure the same quality and design which is associated with us; we are hugely proud that Claire Southall, the design genius behind Blooms Of West London, has personally selected ranges of flower seeds which will work together in the garden, in a vase or in a dried display. Her selections of seeds will properly represent you, the event and your loved one and will last many months and some varieties, years longer than a florist bouquet.
